Default insanity workout?

I am wondering how any of you feel about the insaniy workout, or p90x while trying to concieve? There are so many contradicting ideas out there. I exercise at least 4 times a week, am used to hard workouts, and have done insanity before. I was about to start again today and thought...hmmm, is this safe? It is the hardest workout I have ever done, and have been charting and TTC for 2 months. Should I stick with lower impact workout?

I worked out very hard while TTC and even at the beginning of my pregnancy. Hard exercise will not hurt your ability to conceive. Once you're pregnant, you can still continue any exercise you are used to, with the exception of impact sports and high-risk sports. For example, my doctor was ok with my doing fast runs, weight lifting and spinning while pregnant, but hockey and racquetball were out (hockey for obvious reasons, racquetball because of the risk of falling and collisions).

Good luck with TTC and welcome to TBC!
