Hi, i had a weird period this month, well i think its my period!! I started on the 20th and it ended on the 25th, it was brown with slimey brown mucus, it was like that 4 the hole 5days and 2 day after i did a pregnancy test but it was negative, should i test again and in how many days??

Hi Allet, welcome to The Baby Corner.

It's hard to tell one way or the other, maybe you had a slightly different period this month, or maybe something else is going on. If you had a 5 day period, I would think it's unlikely that you're pregnant, but if you have been trying, it would be prudent to assume pregnancy can occur at anytime.

You can keep on testing, it's possible to get false negatives. But I think only your doctor can give you a definite answer on this one. Best of luck!

Hi there, its just weird cause i have always had 7day heavy flow period!! And even tho its the 1st today, i still feels like my period is coming.. Myself and hubby ttc now 4 about 6yrs. ill just have to wait until i can c my doc, THE WAITING IS GONNA KILL ME!!

You mentioned you usually have heavy periods. Are you diagnosed with anything, like PCOS or endometriosis? Sometimes dealing with those problems facilitates getting pregnant. Does your doctor know the cause of not conceiving?
