Question wanna talk to an expert parents in disciplining a child..

Hi! everyone!
I am new in this site and I wanted to ask an advise on how to discipline a 1 year old boy.
He keeps throwing his toys out from his crib.Is this normal? How to stop him from doing so?
He even has an attitude of slapping face? What shall I do to stop him? Please help.

Thanks a lot.

I'm not an expert, but I do have 8 children.

Babies one year of age love to play what they consider "games" like throwing toys from their cribs, seats, high chairs, etc. It's totally normal. You can tell them NO but doing much more to a 1 year old is probably not fair. They don't really understand your frustration and they just think it's fun. I would suggest trying to be patient and waiting this stage out. You can explain to your child that it's not fun for you and that it makes a mess. That *might* help.
Good luck and welcome!

That is good advice you could also try and not put his toys back in after he has thrown them out. He may realize that its not a game and stop

Yea I read an article that toddlers especially between the 1 yr range tends to smack to get a reaction. Same with the toy's being throw out he's exercising his "cause n effect" emotion. It shall pass so don't worry.
