Hello,
Well I guess I should start off by saying hello to all. I am the mom of two beautiful little girls; ages 5 and 13 weeks. Despite my hubby and my actions to prevent pregnancy ( we used condoms but surprise!!) we are expecting again. I don't think I am very far along since I did have my period on September 1, 2008 but non the less am very scared. With my 13 week old I was in and out of the hospital with pre-eclampsia and she was delivered via c section at 35 weeks. I am making a drs appt hopefully for this week sometime to confirm with the home tests told us this weekend!!
I can already hear our families saying now... What are you guys thinking... Did you not use protection? Are you stupid? My hubby says who cares what other people think. We did take precautions but I guess god had something else in mind for us.

I joined this board to make new friends and to see if anyone else has babies close in age with advice for this scared apprehensive mommy!

to TBC! Congrats on the pregnancy! I don't have advice about the children being so close together, sorry. Mine will be roughly 19 months apart when I give birth next month, but my advice about dealing with your family and how they will react is to just ignore them if they give you a hard time. You know that you and your hubby tried to prevent another pregnancy so soon, but, like you said, God obviously has other plans. So, again, congrats and good luck!

Babies are always a blessing no matter what!! They will be so close especially when they grow up together! Ignore your family.
