In Order To Apply To Be A Moderator You Must:

• Be a regular member of the board you are applying to moderate.
• Have at least 1000 posts on Baby Corner's message boards.
• Not be currently moderating on any other baby, pregnancy, fertility, or women’s interests message boards.
• Have been an active member of Baby Corner for at least 3 months.
• Have been at the board you plan to be a CL at for over a month (unless the board is brand new.)
• Have a positive, supportive, and active presence on Baby Corner
• Be proactive and offer ideas and suggestions for improvement.
• Be knowledgeable in the topic you would like to moderate.
• Be polite and helpful towards other members and give advice whenever needed and whenever possible.
• Visit your board on a daily basis and actively take part in and start discussions as often as possible.
• Take an active part in discussions between CLs.
• Baby Corner CLs have a responsibility to keep unsuitable content out of the boards as much as possible and to report content to be removed to a team leader immediately.
• CLs should frequently encourage member participation in their forum, both by posting in existing threads and starting new ones.
• Understand that being a CL of a board at Baby Corner should be treated just like any other job, and that you should try to make an appearance every day.
• And most of all you must have fun being a CL. If at any time, being a CL becomes too stressful, too time consuming or simply not as much fun as you thought it would be please step down and continue being a member of Baby Corner.
