I watched this solo this weekend. The wife wouldn't watch it because he obviously dies at the end, as a baby, and she didn't want to see that.

I thought it was a really really good movie. Very sad, but good.

I really wanted to see this when it 1st came out but after hearing it was so sad decided not to. I want to see if I can find the original short story at the library.

Maybe I'll watch it some day when I need a good cry.

I'm getting the movie this week to check out. Thought about seeing it while in theaters, but I heard how long it was.

I thought it was good. DH didn't watch it because he thought it was boring and fell asleep (but he ALWAYS falls asleep during movies

). I quite enjoyed it.

I have never found Brad Pitt to be all that attractive (mainly because I don't care for his personal beliefs/politics) but he was easy on the eyes around the middle of the movie.

DH and I both really liked it. DH didn't even want to watch it, and then ended up enjoying it. It was sad at the end, but overall it was good and worth seeing.
