My SIL and I went (bought tickets online the day before) and we arrived about 30 mins early and got great seats. The movie was really good!! It starts with a great recap of all the characters. We both really liked it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is a SATC fan. It has a nice ending too.

I saw it and thought that it was good, but I found myself being bummed out more than I was laughing. I just think that the majority of the movie was very depressing. I know you have to have the good with the bad (or it wouldn't be worth making the movie), but I would have liked to laugh more.

I think you really have to be a SATC fan to understand all the dynamics of the characters in the movie though. I don't think it's for someone who didn't follow the series. If you are a SATC fan, then definitely go see it.

I finally went to see it with my sisters this past weekend! I loved it! I agree, you had to kind of been a fan or at least watched a good bit of the series to understand the dynamics. Yes, there were a lot of ups and downs in the movie. I was telling my dh about some of it and he was even laughing. I kept saying to myself though that if it didn't end the way it did that they would be making a sequel
