Yikes! I'm not too sure what to do about that one and greatful that I'm not in your position. I have a 3 month old and sorta do the co sleeping. He sleeps in his crib for half the night, but when he wakes between 4-6 I just bring him to bed with me and my hubby.

My sister, however, had the same problem. As far as I know, she slowly introduced the crib to my oldest nephew while she was pregnant with his brother. She started out making him go down for his nap in the crib and after a bit, started trying the nights. I know there were afew times that she would call and let me know how tired she was because he cried most of the night, but now he's sleeping just fine in his own room and crib away from Mommy.

Maybe you could try putting the crib in your room and put the new baby in the crib? I think it would be very hard for him to understand why he was moved out because of a new baby.
