  • Is anyone else having as much trouble as I am trying to get my vitamins down? I can hardly drink because of the nausea, and I have so many to take! My throat literally closes when I try to take the prenatal one. On top of that, I have 2 irons to take a day, a baby aspirin, 4 folic acid, and 4 diclectin. I'm not getting them all in - is this a really bad thing?

  • Well can you do a chewable for the prenatal?? And why so much extra folic acid? Should space the iron out and dont take it with the other vitamins as it binds with the some of them and makes them not absorb as well. Small doses it isnt so bad but sounds like you are taking alot. Can you space them out?

  • One iron in the morning, one at night. Both my RE and my family doctor recommend 5 mg of folic acid. One mg is in my prenatal, which I take in the morning, so I have to take the other 4 at night. I stop taking the iron and baby aspirin at 12 weeks.

Is there a chewable prenatal vitamin???? That's the one I just can't swallow because it is so huge!
