We decided to go full force with Nate's potty training yesterday. My plan was to stay home all week long (so he has close and easy access to his toilet). We went to the store to pick out big boy underwear the other day, so we were all set. Unfortunately, Nate doesn't want to wear his underwear, he said he wants to wear a diaper. We had him try to keep the underwear on for a little while, but he ended up peeing in it.

Nate likes to be naked when we're at home, and for the past month or so, he's been doing a good job peeing and pooping in his toilet when he's naked. Most of the time he would just go into the bathroom by himself and then come show me when he was done. So that's why we figured he was ready for potty training. But he peed twice yesterday in places other than the toilet.

Does this mean he's not ready or is he just being stubborn? Any suggestions?

p.s. I should add that I don't care for pull-ups, they are pretty much just like diapers anyway and I'd rather just go straight to the big boy underwear (and Nate doesn't like pull ups either).
