Default Regression

My son was doing great with going on the potty. He hadn't even had any poop accidents in a week or two.

My DH had been home from work due to an injury for about three months and just went back to work full time this week.

He has been holding his poop in until he can't hold it any longer and a little slides out into his underwear or pull-up at nap/bedtime and then it hurts and is irritating his bottom, so he has a diaper rash.

Do they make a child laxative that would help to clean him out? I've tried prune juice and prunes, but he won't go for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

yes, Fleet has a glycerine suppository (liquid in a bulb that has an applicator attached to it)
just for babies and toddlers. It works well to get the 'block up' out, but I would suggest giving him

the mineral oil (hidden in applesauce is what I did) to help keep him from holding it in and ending up with the blockage.
this is where I got the info from and it worked like a charm.
