Default Signs

My son is 18 months old and he's recently started to try playing with the toilet. He tries to flush them, and he's always following me and DH into the bathroom (only when we have to pee) and looking into the toilet after we are finished. Gross, I know.

Anyway, what would be some signs that he is ready to start using the potty? Other than just trying to play with it. He's not talking yet, so he can't tell me that he needs to go or anything. What else should I watch for?

He may drive me absolutely crazy sometimes,
But, he'll always be my best friend,
And the love of my life.
