Default Anyone had irritations everytime you have sex?

I recently put two and two together and noticed that everytime my husband and I have sex, I get really irritated (burning at first and then itchy). Its always afterwards. It didn't start until I got pregnant. I talked to a nurse today and she said that its probably just because my hormones are crazy and my body is changing. Has anyone else experienced something like this? If so, how did you deal with it? I'm only 5 months along and can't really bear the thought of no sex again until after the baby is born, but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be SO helpful !

I was kind of dealing with the same thing, only I really think mine was mild yeast infections. I had three already this pregnancy! I started taking lactobasilus acidophilus (sp?) and I haven't had a problem since I started taking it. My OB gave me the green light on it since it is natural (it's the natural bacteria in yogurt). I found it at a vitamin store. I just take one capsule 30 minutes before I eat. You could try that and see if it helps! Good luck and keep us posted! Thank you so much ! I'm definitely going to try that. I am so desperate to get things to where they are as normal as possible, so that I can enjoy stuff again. I've heard that yogurt can help, but after a while I get tired of eating it. I appreciate your help very much!

No problem! I hope it helps! I was VERY irritated, but it wasn't developing into a full blown infection- it was weird. It was like I just had a mild yeast infection all the time- except for right after I treated it and then it would come back a few weeks later. The lacobasillus has really helped me. Good luck!

That sounds like exactly what I am going through. It has only turned into an infection one time, but been just irritated many, many times. Thanks again.
