  • Some hospitals dont require it for some stupid reason! I know for a fact in Indiana hospitals are not required to do a pulse ox. they only do them if you request it or if its medically necessary..

  • When its with a newborn it is just a sensor place on the bottom of the foot.
    It measures how much oxygen is in the blood.
    It pretty much makes sure that your heart,lungs, and blood are all working together the way they should.

    In Cora's case it could of saved her life. She scored a 9 on her apgar test.

  • So it's not a test done while you are pregnant? It's after birth?
