Default Early pregnancy brown discharge.

Hello everyone, this is my story, and I was wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar. The first day of my last period was 12/29. On 1/30 I started having a small amount of dark brown discharge. At that time I took a home pregnancy test, and it came back positive. It is now 2/4, and I am still having a slight amount of this dischage. There is no red discharge or cramping along with this. Is this normal, and do you think this is just implantation bleeing? Please share. Thanks.

If you already have a positive pregnancy test then it's not implantation bleeding because that would've happend a week or so before you got your positive test. Lots of women experience some time of bleeding during early pregnancy, so it may be nothing to worry about. Have you seen your doctor yet? They would want to do bloodwork to confirm the pregnancy and make sure your hcg levels are good. I would suggest if you haven't seen your doc yet that you do as they can help illeviate some of your concerns. Good luck and come on over to the due date boards!!!

Actually, I just went for blood work today, and I am waiting to hear the results. Thanks for responding, that makes me feel better to know that it isn't uncommon. I am still new to this web site, but I will try to figure out how to get to the due date boards. Thanks for the invite! : )

It isn't uncommon, but it can still be SCARY! That is for sure! Just look under the main message board and you will find the due date boards. I have found this site to be so helpful in my journey trying to conceive and now in my pregnancy I can't even tell you. I have made some really good friends here and the knowledge and support are awesome! Welcome!!!
