Default Good Pregnancy Books?

Hi all, during the 20 months that I was TTC, Toni Weschler's Taking Charge of Your Own Fertility has been my bible. It has been a great help in understanding my own body.

Now I'm finally pregnant
(I've only known that for sure for about 24 hours, and I'm still so overjoyed I hardly know what to do) I'm wondering if there is a similar book to help me understand this amazing process. What do you all recommend? I just had my 40th birthday and got a couple of gift cards to Barnes and Noble and Amazon, so maybe I'll buy myself some good pregnancy books, as well as a Yoga or Pilates DVD.

Your Pregnancy Week-by-Week was my favorite.

Also, What to Expect When You're Expecting.

Another one I wouldn't buy but would borrow is "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy." It's really funny and and easy read.

I bought & used The Everything you Need to Know about Pregnancy & Childbirth. I found it helpful. (I didn't buy the staple "what to expect when you are expecting" b/c I was hoping to borrow it from a family member...but she had gotten rid of it.

I have loved "what to expect when you're expecting" and I also have "The pregnancy journal"- it is neat because it tells you what's happening day by day.

My blooming belly is an ebook that I bought and used during my pregnancy. I found it fun and helpful. It comes with mp3 files which can be listened at home or on your iPod or MP3 player now or when you want. My Bloomin Belly will have you laughing and learning as it guide you step by step through your pregnancy. The book guide you through making tough choices such as using a doctor or midwife, and tell you the truth about hospital, home, and birthing center deliveries. The things that you havenít heard could save your life!
