I have an OB, that I absolutely love. Yes, hospitals are kind of sterile and impersonal, but I've heard nothing but great things from the L&D at the hospital, and after having my first there, I found it to be very true. They were awesome with me and my daughter, and I'm thrilled about doing it again. Even if it is a bit sooner than expected.

there's something VERY comforting to me to have my babies in the middle of a maternity ward at a large and well equipped hospital.
And, I chose a Dr with a medical degree (and then some) because that's what my insurance paid for without question and it was most convenient.

Midwives may be all the rage, but I'm a picky person and want to keep medical stuff to the medical specialists.
Oh, and it's a good that that was my decision both times because with #1 I required a c-section and with #2 I had all sorts of complications that made the hospital and masses of Drs a necessity.

Dr here. I prefer the hospital setting. It gives me more peace of mind.
