Subsequent and scheduled c-sections are SOOOOO much better than emergency/unplanned c-sections. I can almost guarentee that you'll have a better experience with this section than your last one!!!
I had an epidural (and then eventually a c-section) with my first and a spinal with my second... and I didn't really notice any difference as far as uncomfortableness/pain goes. That part is over pretty quickly anyways!!

To be honest I wouldn't be the right person to answer your question, I saw your posting and wanted to ask how was it explained what does it feel like I'm not a first time mom or anything, but my boyfriends a really big guy size 16 shoes to match and all of his kids were well over 9lbs and I'm getting nervous I don't think I'm going to be ablt to stretch far enough to get the baby out without a c-section I think I'm just getting ahead of myself but 9 or 10lb babies help

I had to be stuck a few times for my spinal(for some reason it wasnt going in right, I could feel it on one side and not the other) , but in all honesty it didnt hurt, just pinches and a little sting - I had my first section emergency and i think i slept through most of it (i was in labor about 16 hours and had some pain meds IV) my 2nd I was fully awake the anxiety of it all was a bit much next time id ask to be sedated a bit ! but as far as pain goes I had NONE and you really shouldnt either - Good Luck
