A "mild" winter by Palmdale standards would be what - daily lows in the 50s?

Here in Chicago, a mild winter is one with no high temps lower than 30. And we never get it.

I want 70's darn it! Or I'd be happy with colder if the wind would stop but that isn't ever happening. Actually on the coldest days it will be in the 20's at night and 40's in the day and once in a while we get snow that will stick. Its a lot colder than the SF valley here because we are too far for ocean to make a difference.

I'd never live thru a Chicago winter! I wish I could move someplace in So America in the winter.

I remember being out in Lancaster/Palmdale at Thanksgiving, and it does get cold by SoCal standards, but that seems balmy to me now.
