My sister and I were supposed to be going to the Conestoga Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention this weekend, and now we'
re not going to make it. We wanted to go Friday evening, and then again Saturday during the day. However, we could only get our hubby's to watch the kid's Friday night, and we don't have any childcare options for Saturday (my hubby had plans already since months ago, and her hubby has to work). So the $35 admission just to go for a couple of hours on Friday night when most of the good stuff we wanted to see what Saturday wasn't going to be worth it. Plus then we found out that the author (Jeri Smith-Ready) we were really going to see wasn't sure she'd be on the floor Friday night anyhow. She might meet up with
us for dinner though so that would be really cool, but we haven't heard for sure though. But then as
if that wasn't bad enough I just happened to check out the Conestoga schedule a few minutes ago (Why oh why do I torture myself?!?!), and I find out that Gena Showalter (one of my absolute new favorite authors) is going to be there to and she's doing a signing with Jeri on Saturday morning.(Both are also authors I've done reviews for recently.) This sucks so incredibly bad. Waaaaaaaaah!!!!
