Question Does anyone know?

If you have a special needs child , do they go to summer school (public) ? Zachary is in a prek special classroom and I am wondering what happens over the summer. I know he still needs therapy so how does that work? Does anyone have any info or advice?

We have ESY (Extended School Year) for the kids with more severe disabilities- and there is ST and OT/PT for those kids.

Jacob won't be attending ESY, but we may ask to take him in for continued OT to help his fine motor skills.

I asked Zach's teacher is he will be getting any school or therapy over the summer, she said she was going to check on it and get back to me. I am sure he qualifies for everything, I just don't know if they do it at school or at home. I guess when I find out I will let you all know. Thanks for the information you gave me. I think he should be entitled to something.
