Thumbs up Had Rachel's IEP

We had Rachel's IEP yesterday and set up her goals and the school district offered so ways to meet the goals. We decided to have Rachel attend the Language Lab which is the program that is 2 hours per day 2X per week, I didn't want the headstart program or sp ed preschool for her at this time. The language lab can meet all of her needs at this point. Nice enough too it is located on the same school site where I work, so Dh feels much more comfortable about leaving Rachel there

On a fantastic note the school districts pyscologist said she doesn't feel that an autism diagnosis fits Rachel. She said with the language delay and sensory issues it is something that the considered but that it just doesn't seem to be the right diagnosis for Rachel.

Can I say how good it was to finally have a professional say what Dh and I have been saying all along?
