Talking Potty Training Break Through! (same as Jan-July 2001)

Another thing that really worked for us (Thank you Dr. Phil

) was finding his "currency" what he really wants to do is lay in our bed and watch TV during nap/quiet time or at bedtime. The other night he was trying so hard to push out a drop of pee that he accidentally pooped.

That's effort for ya!

We've tried everything in the past- toys, candy, cookies, any other treat he could ever want- heck last May we told him we'd take him to Disney World if he peed just once (we were planning a trip anyway

). All those bribes to find out he wanted to watch "cartoon neck-work" (network) in our bed. I could have saved tons of $$!
