Thumbs up Starting Speech Therapy

Mariah starts speech therapy next week. She is 17 months old, and they said she is at about an 11 or 12 month level for expressive. For receptive she is just about on target. Mariah is a pretty apprehensive little girl around strangers, but she really took to the therapist, so I am hoping its successful!!!

oh thats so wonderful. it took a little while for Skye to warm up to her therapists at that age so its wonderful that Mariah took to her right away. Thats ok at the level she is at for speech at that age for expressive and receptive Skye was at a 7 month level. Now she is at a 18 month level and shes 3 and a half.
