Not all day yesterday, just the evening/night...
Start near the beginning... My Aunt hasn't been talking to my Gramma or Dad since May, LOOOOOOOOOONG story, not going into details... So I decided to write her a letter saying about family, traditions, whatever the "fight" was about, get over it and move on. I was nice in the letter, should have been no hurt feelings...
Last night my Dad called asking
if I wrote his sister a letter. I told him what I wrote and he said ok, bc she called looking for your number. He didn't have it so he told Aunt to call my brother... Later i got a call and didn't know the # so she left a voicemail, it was my Aunt saying to call back, BUT she didn't sound overly enthused...
I called her back and she told me HER side of the story, so now, after thinking about it all, I understand ALL sides of the story a LOT better... BUT she also told me she is fighting for her life. She has breast cancer BAD, they did a double mastectomy and took a BUNCH of lymph nodes. They are doing chemo and it makes her REALLY sick and she went out yesterday and bought a wig bc her hair is falling out. Basically it's so bad they don't know
if she's going to make it or how long...
So I caled my Dad and told him and he said he knew (WTH? Why didn't I know?) and I told him the WHOLE story and he says, "Oh, well, that's no reason for her to treat any of
us like that!"

Anyway... later that night Sienna ended up sick. She was up I think 4 or 5 times overnight. So that was awful too. At least
dh was nice enough to help me clean her (and her bed) up everytime.
The one nice thing about last night is that
DH saw how upset I was about my Aunt and Sienna, so he let me open one of my Christmas gifts early

CD's, 2 books, and a really cool instrument called an Ocarina! I was futsing with that today and it's actually really easy to play (it probably helps that I also play the piano and flute.)
So that is the story of my horrible evening/night last night. Today was better. We got new cable so we again have DVR, Sienna is MUCH better (she was eating saltines, Kix, and toast, along with Gatorade and water), and I got to have fun with my new instrument and I think the kids liked the music from it as well

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my tears to keep.
My baby sleeps in Heaven's arms,
Peaceful with angelic charm.
Lord take my fears and grant me a kiss,
from the Angel Baby I so miss.

An angel in the book of life,
Wrote down our baby's birth,
And whispered as she closed the book~
"Too Beautiful for Earth."
