we took our trees and inside decorations down on the 1st. We still have our outside decorations up b/c of the snow.
Kids went back to school today ....so we are trying to get back to a normal schedule.

School started up again today but for a bit last night, I thought it might be cancelled... again... because of snow!

it was snowing buckets and buckets last night and we got about 2-3 inches last I checked at about 10pm. But during the night, it got warmer and transitioned from snow to rain and by morning, it was mostly gone (at least on the streets) and school was not cancelled.
Frankly, I was going to be really disappointed if it had been. Because of the snow in December, we've already had quite a few snow days and so this holiday break has been super long

Today, we start Girl Scout meetings back up too.
We start selling GS cookies this Saturday so I'm frantically trying to get ready for all that chaos.

I'll be glad to be fully into the swing of the routines, though.
Maybe by next week?
