The ovaries aren't strictly in one place, like the text-books show. A full bladder, full bowel will to a certain extent move things around a little.

There's a helluva lot of 'innards' going on from the diaphragm down, on each side is intestines and kidneys and your liver. It's also possible that it's surgery scarring causing pain that just happens to be around O time.

I would call the Dr that performed the operation and ask advice just to be on the safe side.

Thanks Tracey...I had never considered scar tissue causing the discomfort. I will have to bring that up. I appreciate your help

I think I posted this somewhere else. I had my rt ovary and tube removed in 04. I remember feeling phantom O pains on the right side mid-cycle and thinking I was nuts. I don't notice them much anymore. I also have lots of endi and adhesions including on other organs and the bowel so some of it may have just been everything resettling. Amy

Thanks Amy! I think they are phantom pains, it never dawned on me that it probably was that. I will definitely bring it up at my next GYN appointment. I appreciate your help.
