I've been off Clomid now, for about four days. I wil be going back to the doctor on March 12th, to get my blood drawn, for my "Progesterone Levels"? Can anyone actually tell me what this is, in terms that I can understand? Also, since I've taken the Clomid, I've been having some symptoms I'm not usually, use too. I've been getting frequent headaces, constipation, hot flashes, moody, tired, depressed, frusterated. Though, these things seem normal, I'm still confused. The headace got so bad, I had to go to the ER and get a shot in my temple of "Imitrex". I have "IBS," so constipation, is really bothering me. The hot flashes I can handle. But it seems as fast as I get tired, I can get an energy jolt that will last 10+ hours. Which is great for work! Don't get me wrong!! Lol. And yet, I get depressed over nothing and cry. I find myself getting so frusterated over simple things, and I seem to be taking it out in a poor manor at work. Then, I get online and see all the people that Clomid, didn't work for and I get so aggravated. Like it's never going to happen for me...How do I handle this!?

Your progesterone level will indicate whether you've ovulated yet.

The clomid is a hard drug to be on. I had most of those symptoms.

Did Clomid ever work for you? How did you handle the symptoms?

Clomid worked for me - can't tell you about handling the symptoms - I had the hot flashes and I just lived with them - they will go away. Good luck!

I feel for you...I've had all of the above symptoms with EXTREME hot flashes! I'm on day 19 after Clomid, etc. and still have hot flashes! Good luck and hang in there!
