Any Military Wives/Girlfriends?

  • Hello Ladies,

Just wondering if there are any women here that are involved with Military men? My hubby just got back from his second tour in Iraq and is being discharged on a full medical. He/we is/are dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is understandable. What I wasn't expecting was the fact that he is on a TTC mission. It's become his main goal in life. I was sort of off the topic, just in case he wanted time to deal with being back stateside and being domestic. But he is driving me nuts, in a good way, but still. I have asked him a few times why he wants to be a Father so badly all of the sudden, and all he says is, "Life is short and can be taken away in a flash". Anyone else in the same situation?

  • My fiance is in the Army and returned earlier this year from his tour in Iraq. He doesn't think he'll get re-deployed since his time in the service is just about up. I am thankful for that since I am pregnant and don't think I would want to raise my child for a year without him. I know he'd be just heart broken as well! Sorry to hear about the your husband and I wish you both the best. If you guys do plan on TTC good luck and hope you have the results soon that you desire.

  • Hi,
Im a military wife. My husband hasnt been overseas but he will be going in a few months. Im not too sure of the dates. Weve been trying for about a year and a half. He wants one soo bad. Everytime we walk past a baby or a pregnant woman he mentions it. Its driving me crazy cuz I sometimes feel bad because Im not pregnant yet. I just want to bless him with a child because I know it will make him so happy. I just dont know what to do. My doctor is going to refer me to a specialist because he wants to make sure that everything is okay with me. Im just scared and hope that everything is fine and that we just have to be patient. Well, right back and good luck.

Ladies we'd love to see you all over on the
. My sweetie did a tour in Afghanistan with the 75th Ranger Regiment and was in Iraq when the war started with 3rd ID. Hope to get to know you all better and to get the Military Board moving along.

If you all need anything let me know
