Default Birth Control Pregnancy help needed I know there are a lot of experts on here. Last week was a long hard week. My ds was hospitalized in another city ( he is recovering). So the whole week I was up there I forgot to start my pack of pills. I was off for six days or so. I had sex last night and didn't really think about it. I was freaking this morning and looked up my ovulation date at babycenter. It said July 21st!!!!
What are my chances of getting pregnant. It would be a nice surprise and I am kinda of freaking out with excitement.
We have three children and I told Dh the only way we would have more is if it were a surprise.
Can anyone give me some input. I am feeling crampy today. I took two pills last night before BD. Do you think I ovulated yesterday. I felt something and today I am crampy.

It sounds like you are probably in a time will tell situation. I've never been on birth control, so I don't knwo how taking the two pills would affect things, but maybe you should just hold off until your cycle starts over.

Its really going to be a wait and see. I don't think doubling up on pills increases your protection

I don't think doubling up at the moment you DTD helps much. If it's any consolation, I was on the Pill for the first year of our marriage and missed at least a week (if not more--I suck at remembering to take pills) each month and never got pregnant until I was off of it for a month.

So I would guess that the chances are fairly slim, but then again, each person is different. Give yourself until August 4th and test. Keep us posted!!
