Default Chart interpretation help? BIG temp drop.

Hi all!
Could you help me again? Here's my chart:

Fertility friend had speculated yesterday that I o'd on day 55 and said that I was in the luteal phase and had maybe BD'd at the right time!! I had to concur as it finally looked like a chart should! However, this morning, my temp plumetted to 96.5. I DID take the temp at a different time. I know.. it sucks, but I couldnt' avoid it. But I thought that that big a drop probably wasn't caused by that small a change in times. Does this mean that I could have o'd but my luteal phase isn't long enough to maintain a pregnancy? I took the temp twice and got the same thing twice. Any speculation is welcome. Thanks so much.

It's pretty hard to say. There's a three-day gap in your chart at a critical time, which makes it hard to interpret when you o'd. Also, I find that FF doesn't do a perfect job of applying the rules of FAM to determining your O day. If you've charted before, the pattern of previous months might help you better determine what's going on this cycle. A lot of times you need two or three cycles to see your normal pattern.

Good luck in your ttc efforts.

Thanks Rudolphia. I hope more cycles help me. It's just so frustrating for me because no two cycles are the same... anywhere from 20 days to 120 days. I guess if I were more normal I wouldn't be so worried about it. I also get really excited when it looks like I might have some normalcy! But if not, oh well. Thanks a lot though!

i wish I could give you an answer one way or another..it really is hard without a few more charts for comparison. However, i wanted to say that I once had a big drop at about 3dpo then my temps climbed back up over a couple of days and that cycle my lp ended up at 18 days (!!!) its usually 11\12 days. i like to think that i conceived that cycle, but who knows, as i didnt test, i was fairly new to charting and didnt understand the significance of a longer lp. Best of luck with this cycle and ttc, i will keep an eye on your chart and pray for a sustained rise !!!!
