Just my two cents on opk's - they're fantastic! I'm pregnant for the second time, both times I got pregnant because I used the tests and timed bd right. I bought them online, for only $18 I got 15 O tests and 5 pg tests (I didn't even use all the O tests!), so they weren't expensive at all and well worth it. I'm lazy and didn't want to have to check temps at the same time every day and wait until days later to see if I actually O'd, so the opk's worked great for me. If trying for a boy, you would want to BD the day you O, like they said (which is hard to determine with temps). Good luck to you!! (Btw, I used early-pregnancy-tests.com)

You got some great advice here. If you really want to try OPK's I suggest the monitors like CLearBlue Easy has. That is what I used and I loved it. You just let it know how long your cycles usually are and then when it tells you to you POAS to check hormone levels. I really liked it. But like some of the ladies said your cycles need to be regular for those to help.

My cycles are pretty regular so I might try an OPK just for the sake of curiosity.

I would suggest if you are going to try opks try charting the same cycle to see put your mind at ease that you read the opk right my first month using them was kind screwy cuz i wasnt sure if the line was darker. check over on the buy & sell board MOY sells OPKs and the are great, and cheap.
OPK's aren't as easy to read as a HPT, you have the control line and the second line has to be as dark or darker then the control line to be a + and i had a hard time the first cycle figuring out if the second line was darker.

Thanks. I was thinking about buying from her. I bought some hpts from her before and they're great. Thanks for the suggestion of charting at the same time. I still haven't decided if I'm going to or not, but I'm thinking on it.
