  • So, today I'll take my last dose of clomid, (100mg). For the past 2-3 days I've been getting a crampy, twingy feeling in my lower abdomen (ovaries?) and I'm feeling a bit bloated and tender. I know a number of you have been on clomid, and I wondered whether anyone else had had this? It seems a bit early is all (today is CD9). You don't think it's going to make me O really early do you?

    Sorry for all the questions
but you ladies are the best place to bring them!

  • It was my experience to get a very strong ovulation on clomid. Not an earlier, not any later. I think the cycle I got pg it was on cd16. I think you just may be feeling your body gearing up to o. Good Luck with the clomid and the IUI. I hope it's just what you needed.

I started feeling O alot stronger when I was on clomid. I still O'd on CD14 (I was charting at the time). Good Luck Christine! I hope this is all you need.

  • Cat ~ I noticed on your last chart that your lp seems a bit short. Ideally it should be *at least * 10/11 days before you get AF. Is your Dr. willing to test your progesterone this cycle so it's not an issue?? Just wondering.

  • He's really not the type to take suggestions... at our first appointment I took in my charts and pointed out that the LP varies from 9 or so up to 13 (I find it's better when I remember to take all my B vitamins) - and he took one and basically counted the day of O and CD1 of the next cycle and said it was OK. He basically wasn't interested at all in my charts and told me to stop doing it (but I haven't, because I like knowing when AF is coming). So... I am going to make sure that I take all my B vitamins this month
I hope that will help. Thanks for checking out my chart though Bethann
    - I might ask the nurses who do the IUI about it (the one I talked to was a lot more open to questions than the specialist was). Best of luck to you too, with TTC#2 - with one as cute as Aedan, I'm not surprised you want another
