Hey Amy, yes we left San Leandro to move to Oakley, better housing & schools for the kids...makes it hard for the hubby who commutes to Hayward daily for work...which that could be part of the problem...your story sounds the same as the one here in walnut creek..they just hired a new RE, and are trying to hire two more...but cant find anyone to work out here...boy what does that say about Kaiser....So hopefully next wednesday will go will....

the only thing we have done are the hubby's S/A which was normal a bit low but nothing to worry about so said the dr...and my tests Estrodial, FSH and day 21 progesterone were all great....as for an HSG no I havent done that...we havent even done a post coital...which is what my friend suggested as 19 plus years ago they found that her body would kill all the spermies cause of an overload of acidicness (spelling there) so she found an article on using a baking soda and water douche just before doing the deed....the dr said it couldnt hurt well.....It worked and she had nick and two years later had Jacob...So I might try that this month...We shall see...

The other thing...I am coming to terms slowly with the idea of adopting...my husband said we should look into that so that way we would be assured we would be able to have a little girl...I think he wants a little princess to spoil...That in itself...considering adopt just lifted a tremondous load off my shoulders...

Thanks again girls for the words of wisdom and your thoughts....that helps a lot too...

Have a great day!!!

I would be careful about any kind of douching unless your doctor has told you there is a problem. You can leave yourself open to infections if you upset the balance down there. The reason many doctors don't do the post-coital test is that if all the other tests are normal, the next step is going to be IUI anyway, which would bypass any problems with hostile cervical fluid, so it doesn't really make a difference whether you find out you have cervical fluid problems. You could ask whether he thinks there may be a problem, but since you've had children in the past it's less likely to be a ph balance issue.
