I was told by someone that I work with that having sex every day is not good for pregnancy because it is better for sperm strength and sperm count to have sex every other day. What do you think?

Sometimes with work and DH conflicting schedule, sometimes it just isn't possible, is every other day sufficient? Can sperm live for a couple of days...I think it can?

We bd everyother day until the day before O and then we do it two days in a row! Dr. said to do it everyother day if dh has low sperm count but if his is normal that it's ok to do it everyday!

Our doctor told us to BD every other day, so that is what we have always done.

With my first we did the BD every other night for 10 days... with the O-day somewhere in the middle.
Yeah... sperm lives for a couple days.

(And then for my 2nd child we didn't do anything... I still don't know quite how I got pregnant.... lol....)

Based on all the studies I've seen she's right on the money. Sperm can live for up to 5 days in ideal fertile cervical mucus. 2 days in good mucus is almost assured unless there is another issue in the mix. So every other day should be enough to do it.
