  • I know I've seen it mentioned here at one time or other.

    I've gotten my 2nd

    and AF showed this morning.

The RE has recommended that I take Gonal-F injectibles (day 7-10) after my 5 day course of clomid (day 3-5).

    What exactly does Gonal-F do?

  • Hi! Ugh sorry I wished I had seen this sooner. I am terribly sorry to hear about your negative. I know it is so heart breaking.

Gonal-f is a injectable fertility medication. It is used to help produce eggs.

I did find this bit of information for you.

"Why would my physician mix my Clomid treatment with injectables?
Mixing injectables and Clomid is an attempt to get some of the stimulant, cervical mucous, and lining benefits of injectables without spending as much money as would be required by doing only injectables."

Let us know if you have any questions about doing injectables. I promise it's much easier than you would think.

    Thinking of you.

  • Thanks, Susanne!

Since I'm taking insulin, I can manage the actual injecting part. I understand there's mixing a dry with a wet vial involved with Gonal-F so I might have those kind of questions.

I definitely need help in the lining department.

  • I found gonal-f and repronex both loads easier to take than clomid! I hardly have any side effects, and ususally get a tiny bit better egg production.

Hopefully this combo will be exactly what you needed.
