Default have a question about charting

when is the best time to start taking your temperture the day after you quit your period or should i start the day after i start my period. i have only charted my cervical mucous in the past and just wondering if charting my temperture and cerivical mucous would have a better result.

Many people don't take their temperatures during their periods but I always do. It's easer for me to be in the habit of doing it every day rather than trying to remember what days to temp. So I do it every day. But it's most important after your period ends and until you next period starts.

Do you use Fertility Friend? It's a great tool for charting and it really takes the guesswork out of it. Charting both your temps and mucous together is a great way to pinpoint when you've ovulated. Remember that charting your temps will reveal your ovulation AFTER you've ovulated. The one way to know BEFORE you O is to use OPKs or a fertility monitor.
