Default helpful foods?

Pumpkin seeds? Baked beans?

Any other ideas for what I can feed him to aid things?

From reading your first post, you've only been trying for a relatively short length of time (although if my memory serves me right, I think it felt like a life-time!) But if your partner has problems with motility/morphology etc then there are vitamins & minerals that have helped some people. These are also reputed to help and are used in couples with motility/morphology/count issues...

Siberian ginseng, 100-300 mg two times a day; alternate with Panax ginseng. (DH takes the Siberian Ginseng)
Panax ginseng, 100-250 mg two times daily; alternate with Siberian ginseng.
Flaxseed oil, one tbsp (14 gr) daily, in the morning.
Vitamin E, 400 IU two times daily. If you take anticoagulant medications, check with the doctor. (My DH takes this one)
Vitamin C, 1,000 mg thrice daily. If diarrhea develops, reduce the dose. (DH has this too)
Copper / Zinc, 2 mg copper and 30 mg zinc daily. Use zinc for at least one month before adding copper. (and this one)
Arginine, 500 mg L-arginine four times daily for three months with mixed amino acids. Not recommended for patients with genital herpes or kidney disease, or who are prone to cold sores. (Yep DH takes this)
Carotenoids, one pill mixed carotenoids two times daily with food. Should contain 25,000 IU vitamin A.

As your partner doesn't have a diagnosed problem then I would not recommend taking any supplements. However, you can find all these naturally in food. For example, vitamins A, D & C can all be found in butter, vegetable oils, dairy foods, liver and oily fish.

for finding vitamins/minerals and trace elements in all foods (including fast food!!)

There is also no harm in having a 2-pronged attack, and to also look at where you can improve your diet.

Good luck!
