hello everyone my name is phyllis i am new to this board. i have been ttc for 12 years . getting prepard to do ivf. if af will ever come.

Well, we've been having unprotected sex a couple of times a week for about seven years, so I guess that's about how long we've technically been TTC...but we've known for that long that hubby wouldn't be able to. We've only recently decided (within the last few months) to go ahead with fertility options...so in that aspect I guess my answer would be less than a year.

sigh, complicated life.

Hmm...that's similar to my situation. We learned 9 years ago- after a year of TTC- that DH has azoospermia so the next eight years of unprotected sex isn't officially TTC- but it took us that long to decide to go ahead with the DI option last June.
