Default I can't count, lol

So I am a big ol'DORK! I always thought that I had a 29 day cycle, but after going to the doc and him saying spotting doesn't count, and also counting the first day as day one....I am actually 28! I feel like an idiot for not realizing it sooner! a Master's Degree and a teaching credential and I CAN'T COUNT!! But, you can see I have new tickers and blinkies which is TOO FUN!! Okay, back to work......

So do we count the day we start as day one or the next day? I'm so confused, LOL so don't feel bad. I can't figure out what my cycle is seeing it has changed the last couple months. This is so confusing, for something that is suppose to be so simple.

Hope you get your bfp this month!

The first day of your cycle (CD1) is your first day of bleeding, not spotting. Spotting doesnt count!!! The last day of your cycle it the day before your first day of heavy bleeding. So you may spot on your last cycle day!

Some physicians also say if the full red flow happens after 3pm then that day doesn't count as CD1 and the following day is CD1. I know it's confusing, but once you get the hang of it then it's a piece of cake!

I find the less you think about it- the easier it is. Overthinking can be tricky!
