Question I don't have a clue what I am doing!

Ok I almost feel like I should know this

but I am still trying to get the hang of the fertile cm.I think I am having watery cm since it's "there" all the time.I marked watery on FF and it says I am in my fertile window at cd8? Am I charting wrong? It's not from excitement and its wet, sorry tmi. What is the right way to determine it without temping or opk? Am I loosing my mind?

The wet will turn to stretchy. Really stretchy. When it stretches between your fingers, then you're fertile.

So could this be considered the rain before the storm so to speak? Maybe I haven't payed that close of attention prior to the stretchy because I was more into the Opk. Regardless we will be bd'ing every night now just to be sure since were not using the opk's this month.Thank you Laura

You're right on track! Its amazing the stuff you don't pay attention to or notice when you don't chart it! Our bodies are amazing! I tried explaining everything to my DH once and he just shook his head and said it was a miracle that any baby is ever conceived!

With CM, I'd also chart Cervical Position. Its fascinating! Your cervix will be low and stiff when you aren't fertile and will rise/get higher/deeper and soften up when you are fertile.

If you also pay attention to the saliva in your mouth, you will notice a change in the consistency when you are fertile! The ferning pattern of dried saliva is different when you are fertile then the rest of the month! I can actually tell the difference in my mouth if I'm paying attention. Its way cool!

I try to ignore the fertility symptoms that scream at me each month. I don't know how I could ever have missed them when I wasn't TTC!!??

(BTW Carrie the golden rules when checking your CP is nice clean hands and no long nails!!
