But I do have another question, I got a positve OPK on Thursday and I'm still getting a positive OPK today, is that normal? Again, this is my first month doing that for those who don't know that.

You can get positive OPK's on two days, but you have to look at the test lines and see which one is as dark as the control line. One will probably be slightly darker, so you go for the darker one.

When I used OPK's I often got ones that looked similar, but if I looked and compared them both then one was always slightly darker.

You should get a lighter one tomorrow afternoon when you test. However remember that ovulation is not an exact science, it just gives you an indication that you're ovulating and approximately when it could happen. The most important thing is that you cover your bases.

Good luck

You can get a +OPK for 2 days but it should be 2 days in a row I think. Are you absolutely sure both lines are the same darkness OR the test is darker than the control? I had a hard time when I first started using them. Is DH around? I found it easier to have him look at them. I WANTED it to be positive and knew more what I was looking for. I learned to throw it in front of him and say "which line is darker?" Then he would point, or he'd say-- "they're the same."

And don't feel bad about asking questions! That's what we're here for! I hate to type the word "relax" but relax!
