Well, I guess I am back, I don't know when I will even get back on track with my o'ing. It is just a wait and see. My doc said she would suggest waiting 3 months again to start TTC. I don't know what to do. I am really scared of having yet another miscarriage. My SIL said that I should really reconsider trying to get pregnant again because maybe God is trying to tell me I am not supposed to have anymore babies and if I keep trying I will prob. get an unhealthy baby or have another miscarriage. WTH, I don't beleive that. It just really pisses me off that someone would even say that. So I started bleeding with my m/c on Feb 7th, would that be CD1 for me? Anyway I am here cheering you all on!
    Thanks for reading

  • Hi Megan

I had typed a big reply to your post last night and then we had a power cut, so I lost the whole thing - gutted!

But I was saying that I totally don't buy what your sister is saying!!! Religious or not there is always a reason for losing a baby, and it's not always down to the baby being unhealthy. I think after losing 2 pregnancies you should ask to be tested for Antiphosphopid syndrome (APS).

Estimates suggest that about 15% of women with recurrent losses have APS. If you get tested for this then you might need 2 or 3 tests as results sometimes do not show up in just one test, and so the recommendation is to do one or two retests. Also ask if there's anything else your Dr feels is appropriate, you could also ask about taking baby/low dose aspirin from a +ive HPT until you are past 12 weeks.

Anyway, speak to your Dr. Be proactive.

On a personal note, I am very sad to not have you on the DD board. You've been with me on part of my journey, and it upsets me that you're not there anymore. You are in my thoughts and heart Megan. Sending you much love.
Thank you Tracey and Neil!

  • Tracey, thank you so much. I am really so blessed to have you in my life. I am for sure going to speak to my doctor about the test you mentioned. It amazes me how one life changing event can bring so many great and supportive women together who are miles apart! Thank you again for your support.
