  • Hey ladies! I'm brand new to the group. My name is Laura and I'm 24, my DH is 25. We've been married since June 30, 2001. We have 2 furbabies, Cajun and Winston, our cats.

We've been TTC #1 since June of this year. I was previously on BCPs for 6 years prior. I am currently on my 6th cycle since we started TTC. I did the temp. charting and OPKs for awhile but I'm currently taking a break from all that and trying to relax. I think I've been trying to hard!!

  • QTeach333 - may I ask what county you live in? I live in Ohio too, and I'm interested in pursuing info on adoption. I, like Cat, always thought I would adopt even if I was able to have children by birth. There's just something about opening your home to a child that makes me think that would be awesome.

My name is Laura (32). DH & I got married in 5/2001 and have been TTC since 8/2002. He had a reversal after many years and I have very irregular cycles, so TTC without intervention is next to impossible. We just had an unsuccessful IUI (results arrived today courtsey AF).

Here's to hoping the next IUI brings twins.

Oh, and I have a wonderful mutt named Half-Pint. He's a terrier/poodle mix and he plays well with others.

We also have two cats that my DH received from his sister when she married a man with a dog that chased the cats endlessly.

Hi everyone, My name is Mary-Ellen (28) and my DH is (28). We have no children

    or any pets.
I came off the BCP in Sept. 2001 as we felt if we became pg it would be great and if we didn't "oh well". (I already new I had a problem with the shape of my uterus so I thought we should'nt wait to plan a family) We planned to use no birth control of any kind and just see what happened. In Dec 2001 we paid more attention to the timing and hoped it might happen but it didn't. So with month after month of dissapointment we made an appt. with the one of the best

Fertility specialist in Ontario. He has an 8 month waiting list!
Sept 2003 we saw Dr.Virro together and had all the tests done. He was great. DH's spermies are excellent and I have a "Septate Uterus" which needs surgical repair. My surgery date is Feb 27th 2004. Then I need to heal for about 2-3 months (more waiting

). It has been a roller coaster ride with many heart wrenching dissapointments, But we see the light at the end of the tunnel. We hope to be able to TTC again in the late spring next year. If all goes well I hope to be

    next summer!
This community has helped me out sooo much. I don't know how I could have coped without all of you, thank you so much.

My husbands name is Joe, we have no biological children together yet but he is a very devoted and loving stepfather to my 3 lil' ones. We are in the process of being refered to a infertility specialist and my dr. at the moment suspects PCOS, it would mean alot to us if we were able to get pg. Aunt flo is expected on the 9th we are crossing our fingers she doesnt visit.
