Default Me again

Hi all... I recently registered to these boards and its bit addictive already

However, being that I'm new here and just beginning to try to conceive, all advice is welcomed. I would like to learn more about conceiving for a child and fertility. Any resources? Thanks!!

WELCOME!!!

It is addicting! If you aren't addicted already, you will be very soon!
I'm Jen...we've kind of met already...

I have a 2 year old DD named Erin. We are trying to have another one and we just found out that we have succeeded in our efforts (although effortless, really...kinda scary how fertile we are).

My only advice....count two weeks after the first day of your last period. Go back about three days and have sex for like 8 days straight. That is how we did it and we had our beautiful DD.

Good Luck and Have Fun trying!

Glad to have you with us!

I highly recommend getting a copy of Taking Control of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and a basal thermometer. The book is a bit thick, but will tell you everything you need to know about understanding what your body is doing. It reduces the guesswork when you're in the two week wait and gives you confidence about what the best days are for conception.

I conceived the first month I used this method. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 12 weeks, so I'm back on the program as soon as AF comes back.

Hi Leann--nice to meet you again

Jen-- yeah we've already met

Once again, congratulations on your big news! Hopefully I'll be joining you soon.

rudolphia--hello. I heard about that Taking Control of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. Sounds like a plan to me(ordering it). I'll just wait to see if a/f come this month first.

However, I am terribly sorry about your recent m/c (((hugggggsss)))) My prayers go out to you and your family. Good luck and I'm sending ++ thoughts your way
