Hi Erin,

Wow!, your MIL is something else. I don't know how you got through that evening from hell!
Have you seen her since? Hopefully you don't have to see her too often.

You are going to make a wonderful child so happy very soon.

Cool WOE!

Erin - sorry to hear about the MIL story. I have 2 girls (7 & 4) and had a failed pregnancy mid-2003. I used to get pg at the drop of a hat, but since the loss, it seems impossible. We've been foster parents for the past 3 years. Keep in mind, it's not easy, but it's definitely worth-while. The hardest part is when they give you no notice and move the child. The "system" can be very frustrating, especially in the eyes of FP's. The key to being a successful FP is remembering that after a child moves from your home, another one will come. Moving day is difficult - don't try to kid yourself. In certain circumstances, you can keep in touch after the child moves. FPing can be very rewarding, too. We've had 7 foster kids come & go - from preemie newborn to 13 y.o. As difficult as it can be some days, it's still worth it! You know what YOU need to do - don't let your MIL get to you. Stay strong - a plan will unfold that will allow you to parent - temporarily or permanent! Good luck!

Karyn
