Hi
I'm new. Glad to see that there are some people in the same boat and that we don't have to feel so alone! We've been trying for almost 16 months and now we're waiting for an appointment with the fertility specialist. what can we expect?

Hi! Welcome to TBC! I'm so glad you found us.

I wanted to pass on a link that might help you with your appointment.

My first RE appointment was more of a gathering information. Make sure to have any records to give to your new doctor, as well as write down any questions you might have before hand. He may or may not do a exam, but I am sure he will discuss tests or treatments with you.

Let us know how it goes!

Well my doctor wrote a referral for the both of us. She asked us every single question I thought possible. I've had blood work done and my hormone levels are normal she says. DH has to go for some sperm analysis. So we'll see how it goes. Why is it so hard trying to achieve something you want so much?

That question is one I still don't understand or have the answer to. In the world of infertility trying your hardest doesn't always mean you achieve a pregnancy. It's heart breaking, unfair, and painful.

My heart feels for you. Testing and treatments are so hard. I pray your doctor finds just the right thing that helps you have your family.

Thinking of you, and hope dh's test results come back perfectly.
