Default OPK and DPO question

This is my first month using OPKs... the directions say that after you get a positive OPK you should ovulate within 24-48 hours. So how do you determine your dpo? From the day of the positive OPK or from a day or two after? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

ETA - Oh, and I've had EWCM for the past three days. I always thought that EWCM meant I was ovulating...?? but no + opk!

I also noticed that I got some EWCM a few days before I got my postive OPK. You should count the day after you ovulated as day 1 (I got my + OPK Saturday, so Sunday was 1 DPO) Good luck!

Yeah- the ewcm is right before ovulation. Helps the spermies live longer. I usually get 2 days worth of +opks. I usually count the second one as my O date.
