  • Just wondering if you give up your bed to your parents when they come to visit.

  • they only live ten minutes drive away so they've never stayed over but I have two rooms that are never used
We are actually taking in foreign students this summer for six weeks. They come over to Ireland to learn to speak English better and stay with families so we will have teenagers for the summer
and my rooms will be finally used.

Well my my in-laws come in from out of town they stay in the house they own here. My brother in law is "renting" from them (but that is a long story he is also drivign the car I had to buy him with their money ~ Oh so off track sorry!!! ) They stay in their own bedroom their.

When my mom stays here with us my 15 year old gives up his room. When she is here and we are away, (once a year at a Steelers Game) she sleeps in our room

Sorry that went on and on!!!

  • The hotel. My DH doesn't like dealing with them.

  • As you know Neil's Mum and Step-Dad and my Mum and Dad live very close-by so they never need to stay, but when his Dad and Step-Mum were going to stay-over then we were going to give up our bed, but only cos his Step-Mum has back problems and our mattress is a bit better than the one on the spare bed. They cancelled at the last minute so they never stayed.

It's a bit more difficult with you tho hon cos of Kitty, Minnie and Speckles who sleep in your room. Your parents usually sleep in your spare room tho don't they? In my opinion your spare room is totally fine hon!
