Is PCOS hard to manage during pregnancy? Does this have any affects on the baby?

Once I got pregnant I had no problems with my pregnancy. The only thing that happened which was bad with my pregnancy was that I had high blood pressure and therefore induced at 36 weeks, but I have a happy healthy Toddler now!

The only things I've heard are that you have a greater chance of miscarriage and developing gestational diabetis. Taking glucophage, watching your diet and regular exercise reduces the risk of miscarrigae, but you have to keep taking it through your first trimester cause stopping abruptly increases the risk even more. A healthy diet and non-strenuous exercise will also help reduce your risk of gestational diabetis.

That said, I had a picture perfect pregnancy that went to 38 1/2 weeks and delivered twins at 7 lb 12 oz., and 8lb. 4 oz. . The only problem I ever had was a horrible case of PUPPS and a little swelling the last 2 weeks.
